This collaborative event between the Dramatists Guild and Candid (the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide) provided theatre writers with a comprehensive introduction to writing grant proposals for arts initiatives. The training included the basic elements of a proposal, the “do’s” and “don’ts” of writing and submitting a proposal, and how to follow up on a proposal. The session also included real-world experiences and scenarios from Candid's experienced instructors and takeaways that participants could immediately put into action.
