OPERA America, the national service organization for opera and the nation's leading champion for American opera, is pleased to announce the official launch of its newest grant program: the Campbell Opera Librettist Prize (COLP). Conceived and funded by acclaimed librettist and lyricist MARK CAMPBELL, the Prize is the first award in the history of American opera that specifically recognizes the work of the opera librettist.
