Nikkole Salter: Why I Joined the Guild
On Twitter, we asked our members, “As a writer, how do you build community?” Here’s what they said:
If possible, self-produce a reading or a production. I’ve done both. Seek out your favorite actors and directors and work with them. Take an AD to coffee. Write a fan note after seeing a special show. It’s basically—reach out.
