UNALIENABLE was born out of the need for Americans of Asian descent to be seen as just that: Americans. I wanted to highlight our shared human experience of this pandemic, and also the unfortunate reality that for most Americans, the default setting when they encounter a face with Asian features is to assume that it is foreign.

is a two-time recipient of the Many Voices Fellowship at the Playwrights’ Center. He produced and wrote for UNALIENABLE, a virtual monologue project highlighting the experiences of Americans of Asian descent during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also the DG Regional Rep for Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.
