Theater for the New City will host its 19th annual Love 'n Courage Gala on February 14th, dedicating the evening to Dramatists Guild Council member Austin Pendleton. The Gala will benefit TNC's emerging playwrights program, which, each year, gives twenty to 30 emerging artists full productions with a minimal run of three weeks.

Austin Pendleton is a director, actor, and playwright who has directed and acted on Broadway, off-Broadway, in films, and regionally, playing and directing everything from Shakespeare to Stephen Adly Guirgis. He is the recipient of the 2007 Drama Desk Special Award as Renaissance Man of the American Theatre.
