Over twenty years ago, Edith Freni was living in NYC, writing plays as a way of examining the world. She wrote to make sense of the voices and conversations she heard in her head. After earning both a BFA and an MFA from NYU’s Department of Dramatic Writing and garnering a long list of nominations, awards, and productions, Edith was chosen as a 2015-16 Ingram New Works Lab resident playwright at Nashville Repertory Theatre.
