La Carreta, El musical had its world premiere on March 24, 2023, at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce. This production, based on the Puerto Rican classic play by René Marqués, was conceived by composer, lyricist, and librettist, GIL RENÉ RODRIGUEZ, and produced by La Fundación Puertorriqueña de Zarzuela y Opereta. We recently had the opportunity to talk to Gil about one of the most anticipated productions of this season.
