Robert Lopez: Why I Joined the Guild

City Theatre’s new leadership has created an exciting new opportunity for Dramatists Guild members in the Pittsburgh region. City’s Momentum Festival has showcased new play readings every June for the past fifteen years. In 2015, I collaborated with Director of New Play Development Clare Drobot to create “In Their Own Voices,” an event featuring local playwrights reading their work out loud at City Theatre.
