WP Theater has awarded Lab residencies to fifteen theatre artists, including playwrights GETHSEMANE HERRON-COWARD, NAMBI E. KELLEY, Haruna Lee, ZIZI MAJID,and Daaimah Mubashshir. The artists' two-year residencies will culminate with the biennial WP Pipeline Festival in 2022.

     Since 1994 the WP Playwrights Lab has provided the opportunity for women+ artists to create and share new work through full-Lab meetings and a monthly playwrights' group. The 2022 Pipeline Festival will showcase the work of five groups of writer-director-producer collaborations, with five plays over the course of five weeks. More info on the Lab can be found here.
