New York, NY—New York Classical Theatre has announced New Visions, a developmental program of original plays inspired by classics. Among the featured works are Against the Order, Gursimrat Kaur’s adaptation of Antigone; A Medusa Thread by Candrice Jones; The Killing Fields, Anya Pearson’s adaptation of Agamemnon; and Aaliyah in Underland, Wind Dell Woods’ subversion of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The series will run through August 2022, and readings are free and open to the public.
