In 2008 Stuart Gordon asked me to write the music and lyrics for a stage musical adaptation of his horror film H.P. Lovecraft’s Re-Animator. Stuart had seen my musical The Bicycle Men and my music video The Baby Shredder Song. The latter is what probably made him think I’d be right for the job.
