Like most playwrights, I’d love to see my name up in lights on Broadway one day. And not just because it would make my Uncle George happy, but because that would mean I made it...right?

Maybe. Maybe not. Because here’s the thing—and we all know this—the path to the bright lights of Broadway is long and winding. And when we begin our playwriting journey, there’s very little light to guide us. It’s just us working, writing, submitting, feeling our way through the dark, often unable to see more than six feet in front of us.
