Louisville’s Teatro Tercera Llamada, teatro en español para toda la familia, a Spanish-speaking theatre company for families, will celebrate the opening of its eighth season in June. Haydee Canovas, a DG member playwright and the company’s founder, explains that the company’s name—Theatre Third Call—comes from the Latin American tradition of giving audiences first, second, and third calls.
