The 2018-19 Kentucky theatre season included the development and production of new work by DG playwrights in theatres across the Commonwealth from Bowling Green to Paducah, and from Somerset to Morehead to Louisville. Here is the season in review:

In Bowling Green, Portia Pennington’s Talley Road was the Public Theatre of Kentucky’s 2019 Kentucky Voices production. The play is about three generations of women bound together by twenty-year old secrets and memories of men who are no longer there. Portia developed Talley Road in the Theatre’s Playwriting Workshop in 2017.
