Contrary to current trends, not everything that exists should be a musical—the walls at Joe Allen give us that cautionary tale with each perfect burger.  And in an era of changing tastes, rising costs, and no financial guarantees, you may wish you could find the perfect IP as a path to success, but just wishing a preexisting franchise will translate into a hit is like throwing all your money into a wishing well and wishing you were better with money.
