Houston’s vibrant theatre scene had an eventful 2022-2023 season, showcasing a wide range of productions that offered something for every theatregoer. From classic plays to groundbreaking musicals, the city’s theaters left audiences enthralled with their performances.

The Alley Theatre presented five world premieres including two new plays, two new adaptations, and a new musical.

Kicking off their productions was Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Soprano, a “revisal” of his popular Lend Me a Tenor, but with women in the leading roles.
