Amanda Green: Why I Joined the Guild
As I’m writing these notes, I’m sitting in my actual office at 1501 Broadway surrounded by the year-old mess I left in March 2020. The debris field on my desk is frozen in time, and the bustle of Times Square outside my window is eerily quiet. Several once-busy storefronts now have “for lease” signs on them. No tourists. No people dressed in grubby Elmo costumes.
