A Dramatist's Guide to Seattle

All the world’s a stage, but not all stages include a proscenium arch or even four walls, which probably explains why Seattle leads all major U.S. cities in performing arts attendance, according to a recent survey (U.S. Census Bureau).

In order to reach that level of support, theatregoers in the Seattle-area must not only embrace the arts; they must be willing to enjoy a show or two in non-traditional spaces.

Seattle and neighboring cities have no limit to those unique spaces.
