Get ready for a field trip to theatre and writing destinations in San Diego County! You’ll find these welcoming sites for dramatists as diverse as the landscape that surrounds them.

Starting in North County San Diego, catch premieres of new plays at Oceanside Theatre Center. Hop off the I-5 freeway where New Village Arts offers their Final Draft New Play Festival for workshopped readings of new work created by San Diego playwrights.

Going east along Highway 78, stop at Vista’s Broadway Theatre, “San Diego County’s BIGGEST little theater,” that often produces new work by local playwrights.
