There is much to report from the nation’s capital, where new plays are concerned. An exciting new initiative is in the planning stages: dozens of area playwrights have begun meetings to develop a new playwrights’ service organization, tentatively titled District Dramatists. Although in the early stages of development, the conversations about how to best serve DC-area playwrights are lively and dynamic.
