I write to make sense of the world. It is one of the most effective ways that I cope. However, when the plays don’t advance past the new play development stage, I have to figure out what to do next and that isn’t always easy, especially in the face of rejection or when creativity is blocked. So, I reached out to fellow Dramatists Guild members to learn about how they carve out time to write, create community, and cope with the world and the work.
