There is new work being done. That sentence would be a boring and frivolous opening in any of the DG articles I wrote prior to 2020. But now, because of stuff I don’t need to mention, it feels like important information. Writers are writing new plays, and audiences are experiencing them.

Josh Hartwell
is an Artistic Company Member at Curious Theatre Company, and an Ensemble Member at Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC). An actor and playwright, Hartwell was seen in Clybourne Park (Denver Post Ovation Award for “Best Actor in a Comic Role”) at Curious in 2011.
