Why I Joined the Guild with Lisa Kron
In a recent survey of the Dramatists Guild’s Southern California membership, my fellow writers told me quite a bit about who they are, why they joined, and what they’d like from the Guild.
Their reasons for joining included, “to protect my work”; “to connect with a community of writers”; “for educational opportunities and business advice”; and “to support an organization that supports so many writers.”
