What is a favorite memory from this season?

Sitting with my daughter, watching her godfather, Mark Lotito, charm the entire audience at the Schubert Theatre in Some Like It Hot. Siena has grown up in this business, and the greatest joy is sitting in a theatre with my kid—now my much younger best friend—as the lights go down and we applaud our circle of friends and family.

Jeanine Tesori

is a composer of musical theatre, opera, and film. She is a two-time recipient of the Tony Award for Best Score and a two-time Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Tesori is the Founding Artistic Director of New York City Center’s Encores! Off-Center series and a lecturer in music at Yale University.
