What is a favorite memory from this season?
A favorite memory from the season would be James Lapine sharing with the company of Flying Over Sunset that he was dedicating our opening night performance to Stephen Sondheim.
What is a great bit of advice about playwriting you’ve given or received?
Some advice I’ve given is to always find inspiration in a story or a source that speaks to your voice. Something filled with challenges and complexities that will continue your growth as a writer and allow you to infuse the piece with important perspective and sensibilities that are at the heart of who you are as an artist.
What’s next?
A musical adaptation of Almost Famous with Cameron Crowe, and an exciting new project with Brian Yorkey as well as some other musical and television/film projects in development which I hope to get to talk about soon!
