What was an early, memorable theatrical experience?

I was enchanted by a high school production of Godspell, which I saw while I was in elementary school. That experience set me on the path to becoming a theatre artist. It’s why I was thrilled that the Classical Theatre of Harlem’s production of my play, Malvolio, was free and open to the general public. When I saw the joy of the children attending it, it made me relive my experience of my first theatrical encounter, which changed the trajectory of my life.
