In 2007, then-mayor of San Antonio, Phil Hardberger, and his very arts-attuned wife Linda, vacationed in Paris and so greatly enjoyed the City of Lights’ Nuit Blanche that he came home and went right to work creating a similar event for his city. Calling together his creative leaders, Mayor Hardberger set in motion San Antonio’s very own Luminaria: Arts Come to Light.

She has had over 60 productions of her work that have been commissioned and developed throughout the United States.
