New York, NY – Audible, Inc., headquartered in Newark, NJ, has announced upcoming events from Audible Theater at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York. Included among the theatre’s next shows are performances by Jason Gotay and the world premiere of Good Enemy by Audible Theater Emerging Playwright and Dramatists Guild member Yilong Liu. After a limited, five-week engagement, Good Enemy will be released as an Audible Original, extending its reach to millions of listeners globally.

Audible has also announced the cohort of playwrights participating in their fourth annual Emerging Playwrights Fund. The dedicated $5M fund enables the development of original works driven by language and voice, keeping with Audible’s commitment to elevating listening experiences through performance and storytelling. The selected playwrights are Waleed Akhtar (he/him), Banna Desta (she/her), Tyler English-Beckwith (she/her), Oli Isaac (they/them) and Tara Moses (she/her).
