Atlanta is slowly and cautiously welcoming audiences back to in-person theatre. Steps are being taken to ensure the safety of theatre personnel and audiences. Many of the smaller theatres have led the way for these safety protocols. The first theatre to put in place COVID-19 safety measures was Actor’s Express. For their recent production of Red Speedo by Lucas Hnath, Actor’s Express required proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result. The theatre even provided rapid home COVID test kits for sale in their box office.
