Laura Ljungkvist

was born and raised in Sweden. After graduating art school, she began her career as a professional freelance illustrator in Stockholm, working with design firms, advertising agencies, department stores, magazines, and newspapers. She has written and illustrated twelve children’s books and lives in Brooklyn with her family, including two dogs.
