New York, NY – The Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF) has announced the sixteen plays, including nine shorts and seven one-acts, that will be included in this year’s festival. DUAF 2023 begins on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk) return to The Public Theater with If Trane Wuz Here, a centerpiece production celebrating the genius of John Coltrane. 

Following the May performances of If Trane Wuz Here, the DUAF will continue Wednesday, June 7-Saturday, June 24 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater. Tickets go on sale April 1, and further information is available at duafnyc.com.
