Ankita Raturi: Ten Questions

What was an early, memorable theatrical experience?

Honestly, the Blue Man Group. I didn’t watch a lot of theatre growing up other than school plays, but we moved back to the United States from Indonesia when I was thirteen and we took a family holiday on the West Coast while we waited for our furniture to arrive. So, we were in Las Vegas, and I couldn’t drink and I couldn’t gamble, but I could watch a show. I remember we were choosing between Blue Man Group and something else (probably a singer? Or maybe Cirque du Soleil?). I’m so glad we ended up at the Blue Man Group. In my imagination, it is still the most utterly theatrical experience I’ve ever had.
