DG Member Amy Crider is the 2021 winner of the Tennessee Williams One Act Play Contest at the New Orleans Literary Festival.
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Dramatists Guild member AMY CRIDER’s play Fourteen won the 2021 Tennessee Williams One Act Play Contest. She received $1,500 and a professional reading during the Tennessee Williams New Orleans Literary Festival’s online events this past spring.

A Guild member since 2013, Amy Crider studied theatre at Goddard College, and playwriting at Second City and Chicago Dramatists. She has been semifinalist or finalist for the O’Neill, the Princess Grace Award, and the Neukom Literary Arts Award. Her novel Disorder will come out in November from the University of New Orleans Press.
Now in its 36th year, The Tennessee Williams New Orleans Literary Festival is a five-day event held each spring in New Orleans' historic French Quarter that attracts participants from around the world.
