Mike Lew: Why I Joined the Guild
The Zeiders American Dream Theater—The Z—is a professional, not-for-profit theatre company with the mission to introduce new works and emerging artists. Its goal is to become an integral part of the community using the arts to encourage individuals to embrace their dreams and achieve their full potential. The Z is building partnerships with other community arts organizations across the shared regional home of Hampton Roads to present a full range of artistic experiences.

is the DG Ambassador in Virginia. With his wife, Gail Davis, his plays and musicals including Bo! and Phantom of the 87th Street Playground among others. He founded and taught the Crispus Attucks Writers Workshop in Norfolk from 2009 to 2017 and co-leads the Zeiders American Dream Theater Dreamwrights Workshop in Virginia Beach. Clyde also teaches public arts/mural classes, Black Drama, and playwriting classes at Norfolk State University.
