Artists Repertory Theatre’s mission is to produce intimate, provocative theatre and provide a home for artists and audiences of varied backgrounds to take creative risks. Artists Rep is Portland’s premiere mid-size regional theatre company, and is led by Artistic Director/Interim Managing Director Dámaso Rodríguez. Founded in 1982, Artists Repertory Theatre is the longest-running professional theatre company in Portland.

Our mission is to cultivate a diverse and vibrant arts community while creating opportunities for local and emerging artists through performances and education.

To develop and produce predominantly new work, specifically in the short play and short musicals genre; Leverage our theatrical expertise to engage and educate the community; Provide thought leadership to the theatrical industry.

Each year, four new, unpublished works for young audiences are chosen by a panel of artists and playwrights and presented by professional artists in two staged readings. The playwrights talk about their work, and artists and audience have the opportunity to join the discussion. At the conclusion of the festival, one of the new plays is chosen to be mounted as a Main Stage production.

Luna Stage develops and produces thought-provoking theatre that gives voice to emerging American playwrights and new life to contemporary and classic plays that speak to our times. As producer, educator and innovator, Luna Stage is committed to collaborating with artists of multiple disciplines and partnering with our community to illuminate the diverse perspectives of our society.

North Coast Rep’s mission is to create a platform where artist and audience thrive through the intimacy of live theatre, recognizing the power of theatre to challenge complacency, revitalize the imagination, nurture the unexpected and embrace the variety and diversity in our lives.

The PRT periodically commissions out-of-town directors from other cities and collaborates with local companies that include the Irish Classical Theatre, Ujima Company, Inc., Shea’s Performing Arts Theatre and MusicalFare Theatre, among others. The 130-seat physical theater is housed inside of the African American Cultural Center at 350 Masten Avenue. The Paul Robeson Theatre season runs from September to May, with an average of five productions that focus on the African American experience. Season subscriptions and group rates are available.

Founded in 2005, Jewel Theatre Company (JTC) operates under a contract with Actors’ Equity Association (the union for professional actors and stage managers in the U.S.) and is dedicated to creating extraordinary productions that explore and advance the art of theatre by entertaining, enlightening and engaging the community. We rent the theatre we perform in. The Colligan Theater has 182 seats in 10 rows and the stage is 30' deep by 54' wide, wall to wall. Camden Rep uses the performing and visual arts to encourage, uplift and transform the lives of women and girls in Camden, NJ and mirror communities. The main stage season operates from September-June utilizing the summer months to focus on training and developing serious pre-professional young artists. These young artists also prepare for college auditions and receive assistance with the application process. Although the focus is on Camden City youth our success has attracted students from the entire Camden County region. The company also conducts intergenerational arts workshops during the summer where artists range from 8-80.

Murmur exists to support and exhibit DIY and ephemeral media that serves as a provocation in contemporary art and culture. We do this via residencies, providing our project space at 100 Broad St In Atlanta, and material/organizational support for artists.

Founded in 2009, Leviathan Lab is an award-winning not-for-profit creative studio whose mission is the advancement of Asian and Asian American (A/AA) performing artists and their work. Raised in a basement, fed on radioactive trash, Brooklyn based Rat Queen Theatre Company creates devised musicals that reimagine American history. We find that a lot of historical writing is neglectful of the truth and, honestly -- boring. We use history to question everyone’s assumptions (including our own) about the origins of our society. We utilize the unabashedly loud, queer, and ostentatious to dive deeper into the narratives we think we know and uncover what may have been overlooked.

Located in the heart of the Theater District OPEN JAR STUDIOS features some of the largest studios in New York City for rehearsals, auditions, and support offices for productions of all sizes. Two 4,000 square-foot studios with 22-foot high ceilings make the space ideal for Broadway rehearsals. The Brownville Village Theatre is one of the oldest repertory theatres in the state of Nebraska. 'Tailz of Too Katz' is a literary play on words, the phrase coming from the Charles Dickens novel, 'A Tale of Two Cities' in 1859. While there's little literal inspiration from this book, it's an invitation to understand the various dimensions that comprise the organization. 'Tailz' is used to symbolize cat tails. 'Too' denotes more than two. And Katz - well, that is self-explanatory. In other words, ours is a story wrapped in a riddle & wrapped in an enigma.
