The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

    In the summer of 2012, a group of Santa Fe actors banded together under the artistic leadership of Robert Benedetti. They shared a passion for theater that addressed issues of social justice and celebrated the human spirit. Their first production was Santa Fe Shakescenes, a series of programs of scenes from Shakespeare arranged around topics like honor and love.

    Blue Raven Theatre is new to Santa Fe, New Mexico, but its founder, Talia Pura, has been producing original theatrical works for almost 20 years. Focusing on her own comedies and dramas, she has entertained audiences in her original home of Winnipeg, Canada, in Toronto, New York City and as far away as Stockholm, Sweden and Cape Town, South Africa. She is thrilled to now call Santa Fe home, and begin producing theatre again.
  • Almost Adults Productions is an inclusive company in Santa Fe providing creative opportunities for both beginning and seasoned writers, actors, directors producers, crew members, and local non-profits since 2015. Our premiere production was a program of LGBTQ-themed short plays by local playwright Aaron Leventman at Warehouse 21. This was awarded a grant from the Envision Fund, then honored by the Mayor on opening night declaring LGBTQ Theatre Day in Santa Fe. Since then we have presented short plays at various festivals in New York.
