dg resource directory
The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

Only active members or subscribers of the Guild may use the Resource Directory.

Update or Submit a New Listing Use our submission form to submit new listings or update a current one.

Sour Grapes Productions was founded in 2007, incorporated in New York in 2014, and turned into a non-profit in 2019 by two disgruntled actors who don't like to play by the rules. I mean, they DO play by the rules because they're good noodles, it's just that they don't like to. Sour Grapes was a resident company of FRIGID New York from 2018 - 2021. In April of 2019 they created SILENT BUT DEADLY: A Mime Experience, and September of 2019 they launched CHEMICAL X: The Powerpuff Girls Improv Show. They are the home of M.Y. Improv, which started in 2020, and started the So Many Shakespeares...

Brooklyn Children’s Theatre brings together youth from diverse backgrounds to learn and grow through the collaborative art of musical theatre. We especially seek the participation of students who have a gift to give the art of theatre who would not otherwise have theater or performance opportunities, due to economic or cultural barriers or lack of resources in their schools and communities. BCT fulfills an underfunded need in which all students are welcome, regardless of their economic situation. No child has ever been refused for an inability to pay.
