Wolf Trap Opera is one of the nation’s most highly regarded residency program for emerging professionals in the opera business. The young artists on our roster sing all roles in our productions. Our main venue is The Barns at Wolf Trap, and our parent organization is The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. We're in Vienna, Virginia, about 15 miles west of Washington, DC.

The Hub Theatre is an award-winning, professional non-profit theatre making its home in Fairfax County, Virginia. The Hub Theatre is a member Theatre Washington. The Hub has received grants from Target, the Fink Foundation, ARTSFAIRFAX, The Friends of Lake Anne, Virginia Commission for the Art, Integrity Applications, and Booz Allen Hamilton. The Hub is in residence at the John Swayze Theatre in The New School of Northern Virginia located in Fairfax, VA for its full-scale productions.

Prologue Theatre is launching FOREWORD: A New Works Series. We will be selecting 5 new works to be workshopped via Zoom from November 2020-March 2021.

Prologue Theatre understands that it can be difficult, at times, to begin conversations about “certain topics” and focuses on presenting theatre that can serve as that starting point. Through theatrical performance, coupled with community discussion, we strive to challenge our community to examine and discuss their views of the world and those around them. Our focus is on those who are in the process of finding their own voice – whether 15 or 115 years old – and are looking for a place where they can hone those viewpoints by examining world issues within (and with) their community.

WNO’s acclaimed commissioning program for contemporary American opera enters its tenth exciting season, showcasing three new one-act operas by talented composer-librettist teams. This season, American Opera Initiative (AOI) mentorship is led by newly appointed AOI Artistic Advisor and librettist Kelley Rourke, librettist and filmmaker Kimberly Reed, composer Carlos Simon, and WNO Principal Conductor Evan Rogister, who will lead a chamber orchestra of WNO Orchestra members. The concert staging will be directed by WNO Artistic Director Francesca Zambello.

Est. 1979 in response to the urgent need for arts education for young people. Imagination Stage has grown from a handful of children in a single classroom to a full-spectrum theatre arts organization, with theatre productions by professional actors and artists. Unlike most children’s theatre companies, Imagination Stage commissions new works for children every year.

Since 2017, we are a company established with a full time residency performing a full season of shows at the Highwood Theatre in Silver Spring. 4615's productions aim to merge a rigorous emphasis on text and storytelling with creative staging to create highly immersive experiences. In the spirit of our roots, the company is also committed to supporting emerging young artists with a robust apprenticeship program.
