dg resource directory
The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

Only active members or subscribers of the Guild may use the Resource Directory.

Majestic Repertory Theatre was established in the fall of 2016 at ALIOS, an arts space in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District. The "Majestic" name was chosen in honor of one of the first theatre's in Las Vegas, the Majestic Theatre which was located on Fremont Street. Active in the early 1900s, it was a vaudeville house and cinema. Our vision is to find in Las Vegas the voices that will change American Theatre. Our mission is to bring Off-Broadway style theater to Las Vegas. To us, that means giving the theater-makers of Las Vegas the means to realize their visions. We are not here to impose NYC values on your arts community. Rather, this initiative is a continuation of our efforts at our flagship NYC theater to platform local/Fringe artists. Thanks to the generosity of our donors—Karen Camp, the Victoria Bradshaw Family Foundation, the Kaufman family, and Rita Rudner and Martin Bergman—we are able to offer four artists one $2500 grant each towards the development of their project. And the...

TigerBear Productions started on its journey long before 2019. Our fore“bears” include the first artists who inspired us as wee cubs, and those who shaped and shared them with us. As we grew, we wondered again and again: who could we gather to tell a story with, and who could we gather to tell it to? Print and stage and screen evolved, and so did we, yet we kept renewing our love of making stories and making them happen. Here, now, we keep telling and making them, with more inspirations in our hearts and imaginations than we can count. Join our journey.
