Wood Theater is to serve all people within the greater Glens Falls region by: Committing to the responsible ownership and management of a year-round performing arts facility in downtown Glens Falls. Attracting and promoting cultural events and productions. Engaging the public in the performing arts. Striving to be an economic engine for downtown Glens Falls and the lower Adirondack region.

The Dorset Players, the non-professional theater group that owns the Playhouse, has developed an active Fall-Winter-Spring season. The Players have expanded far beyond its original nucleus of Dorset residents to all those in the Northshire who loved theater.

The Schenectady Theater for Children, Inc. (STC) is a not-for-profit, company of adult volunteer & occasionally home-schooled children dedicated to bringing live theater to local children during their school day. The cast and supporting technical crew include volunteers from all over the Capital Region, who are committed to our mission to inspire youth to get involved in the arts.

Black Theatre Troupe was originally founded as Soul Rebel Performance Troupe in November 2009 by veteran actor Jean-Remy Monnay as a not-for-profit organization to foster understanding, appreciation and participation of the performing arts among communities of color.
