MTSU Write is a from-home mentorship program within the English Department. It is a three-semester program, working with new and experienced writers in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, screenwriting, and playwriting.

The purpose of the Sewanee School of Letters is to provide a Master’s program of the best quality, in English and in Creative Writing, to students who have only summers to devote to study. The MFA in playwriting is a three-year sequence that includes courses in playwriting, theater history, performance theory, dramatic literature, and script analysis, as well as a variety of electives.
