NuAFrikan Theatre is an emerging theatre company dedicated to producing original, contemporary, and classic theatre in order to engage, educate and empower communities through the African American experience. We seek to further pioneer the artistic development and diversity of contemporary theatre, in addition to preserving the art of traditional theatre forms. Our goal is to draw new audiences to theatre, foster and develop aspiring new talent, and introduce appealing and stimulating theatre to underserved communities and nontraditional settings where it my otherwise be inaccessible.

BRTW is proudly based in New York City, where we offer 3+ public performances every year. Generally, readings and open workshops will be donate-what-you-can to keep our work as open and accessible to our community as possible. While we strive to keep tickets affordable , we cannot always control ticket costs for full productions.
