dg resource directory
The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

Only active members or subscribers of the Guild may use the Resource Directory.

Street Theatre Company is a professional non-profit arts organization dedicated to pioneering innovative modern theater in Nashville. Our aim is to engage our audience with universal stories that speak to the human experience and challenge conversation, to support local artists, to provide arts education to children of all ages, and to foster a new generation of theater arts participants and supporters.
  • At the Arts at Center Street, we do not seek to create art simply for its own sake, or to produce something “beautiful” without evaluating the cost. To this end, we foster opportunities for education and performance in dance, music, theater, and poetry and public speaking. We accept the challenge of creating entertainment that is characterized by meaning and substance, that will affect people deeply and play a part in the transformation of their lives for the...

Every year, over 20,000 members of the local community get to experience a Nashville Rep production, special event, or outreach program.
  • Founded in 2016, Pipeline-Collective creates guerilla-style theatre, with emphasis on the craft of the actor, dynamic storytelling, and theatrical magic on a shoestring budget. We cultivate relationships and collaborations across state lines and into non-arts realms. Through innovative programming such as the Playground Series – which seeks to make theatre “dark nights” a thing of the past – and theatrical benefits that call attention to the work of charitable organizations, Pipeline-Collective extends the reach of the arts, empowering theatremakers to tell their stories.
