With live theatre being rendered impossible due to the unprecedented circumstances of COVID-19, our small actor family was determined to continue to work. We also decided to use the time in quarantine to experiment with a digital medium for producing some of Shakespeare’s best plays and beyond. We are pleased to say that our mission was successful, and the Royal Social Distancing Company is still producing new and exciting virtual theatre experiences. We have grown our network to include actors, playwrights, directors and theatre makers all over the world, and we won’t stop there.
