Broom Street Theater (BST) is a non-profit, member-controlled theater located in Wisconsin. BST volunteers and staff foster artistic freedom, growth, and expression through non-traditional experimental and/or original artistic forms.

TAPIT/new works creates, produces and performs original works, collaborating with theater, dance, music and visual artists; brings the arts to audiences of varied ages and backgrounds; encourages participation in the arts through outreach; and strives to enrich the lives of individuals and communities.

Est. 2001 by Thomas McClurg in order to provide a stable home for gay and lesbian-themed plays within the broader Madison theater community. StageQ celebrates queer diversity through quality theater written by and about LGBTQ people, building an inclusive community and effecting positive social change.

Madison Opera is a non-profit, professional opera company based in Madison, Wisconsin. A resident organization of the Overture Center for the Arts, Madison Opera produces three operas annually in addition to Opera in the Park and a variety of educational programming.

Forward Theater Company is a nonprofit professional theater company founded to provide exceptional theater experiences for area audiences and give professional actors, designers, and directors an artistic home. Forward Theater Company also aims to create a home base for Wisconsin theater professionals and audiences that expands the cultural and economic life of the greater Madison area.
