The mission of the Warehouse Theatre Company is to engage, enrich and encourage our community through shared experiences in theatre arts. As Yakima's community theatre, WTC has enjoyed a well earned reputation for professional-quality musicals, comedies and dramatic performances for over six decades.

Central Theatre Ensemble, the production wing of the Theatre Arts Department, produces several shows each season, both on the main stage and in a studio (workshop) setting. Among the main stage offerings each year is the annual musical theatre production along with contemporary and classical fare from around the globe. Another example of how CWU's students use their skills to “Learn. Do. Live.”

Mission: To provide educational opportunities in the theatre arts for young people of all abilites and levels of interest; to produce quality theatre for and by the young with appeal to all ages; and to expose people to diverse ideas and cultures through the theatre experience.

We enhance our community through the performing arts, educate the public on the value and impact of live theatre, elevate the quality of live theatre locally, and entertain our community by delivering high-quality Shakespeare-inspired theatre produced by our ensemble cast and crew.

The vision that created the Richland Players in 1944 to bring music and laughter to an isolated community, and opportunities for local citizens to directly participate, continues today. As the community has evolved in the demographics of age and culture, so too has the Theater evolved its repertoire and vision for new productions.

We love plays with big meanings that transcend particular ages and cultures. And we we hope that cultural influences, including theatre, can change some part of the human family—or even one person—toward a more bearable, insightful, hopeful, or self-determining state. The subjects of our plays may include individual liberty, family, power, religion, death, or other fundamental issues of human existence.

Tall Tales DC Productions is seeking contemporary full length and short plays by South Asian playwrights not previously produced in the DC Metro area. A stipend will be paid for selected work.

Est. 2003. Valley Center Stage is doing business as a part of North Bend Community Theater, a not-for-profit theater arts organization devoted to igniting the spontaneous creative spirit that exists in all people.

With more than 50 combined years of regional and educational theater experience under their belts, Christopher and Petra Karr officially launched ACT 1 Theatre Productions in 2008. They rented a tiny office in downtown Sumner, WA just a hop, skip and a jump from Heritage Park and the train tracks. During this initial phase, ACT 1 performed at the Puyallup Elks Lodge, The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse (both inside and under the big tent) and, most often, in Heritage Park.

Auburn Community Players is comprised of volunteer actors who are passionate about bringing quality, live theater to Auburn. The City of Auburn hires directors, choreographers and other professional to produce a theatrical performance. Currently, Auburn Community Players produces two shows per year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

Village Theatre announces open submissions for its new Northwest Creator Residency program, seeking Seattle-area Black, Indigenous and POC artistic creators of all experience levels, including but not limited to writers, composers, performers, choreographers, directors, designers, and producers, to begin work on any element of a new musical.
