Inspired by the aspirations of the grange movement, the Ancram Opera House creates meaningful encounters through the performing arts that forge connection and community. We believe performances—experienced in our small, intimate space—offer the possibility for real exchange, instill a sense of place and contribute to healthier and happier lives. Our hall fosters an audience’s immersion with a performance to make it complete and the potential for personal growth that the arts provide. We also look to Ancram's pastoral character to nurture fervent artistic creation.

Taconic Stage Company’s artistic director is a familiar local personality, Carl Ritchie. After three seasons as artistic director of Copake Theatre and a stint as town councilman, Ritchie took a year off to write shows and has returned with this new, non-profit theatre venture.

Walking the dog Theater creates theater events, inner development courses, and community-building projects. Vital aspects of this purpose include: engaging children, youth, and adults in their own creative potential, stimulating artistic life in underserved areas, supporting the work and growth of professional artists, the Michael Chekhov approach to acting, and staging plays, with a special passion for the works of William Shakespeare.

The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization which is dedicated, through its arts and education programs, to providing arts experiences for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. We are a theatre group dedicated to nurturing, inspiring and empowering the development and sharing of new and challenging works by established and emerging playwrights. From book-in-hand readings to full, simple productions, our aim is to support new plays that tackle serious subjects with humor and insight; which take risks and go to the edge when called for; that teach via entertainment and challenge paradigms via love. We believe in diversity as essential to art and sustainability.

Bridge Street Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit corporation which purchased the factory building at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY in late 2013. We have now converted the building into a 84-seat theatre which houses our own theatre productions. It will also be available to other theatres and performing arts groups, and because of its location adjacent to Catskill High School, will be able to provide theatrical opportunities for high school and middle school students.

Berkshire Playwrights Lab provides an opportunity for emerging and established playwrights to find a secure berth where they can develop new work and/or explore new avenues of creativity. Without a commitment to nurturing new voices and new talent, the American theater is losing promising playwrights. Through readings, workshops and fully-staged productions, BPL provides emerging and established writers with a professional and creative environment, while offering audiences the engaging and provocative opportunity to share in the dramatic evolution of premiere works.

The Ghent Playhouse is non profit volunteer run community theater. Now in its 45th year, the Ghent Playhouse is a fully-functioning, handicap accessible, jewel of a theater in Ghent NY. The Theater is equipped with new comfortable seating, modern accessible restrooms and air conditioning! The historic building also contains a set shop, dressing rooms, kitchenette, costume storage and sophisticated lighting and sound systems. Drawing talent from all around the Hudson Valley and beyond, the playhouse now presents five diverse productions each year.

TMI Project’s mission is to help craft and amplify radically true stories to ignite human connection, challenge the status quo, and inspire both storytellers and listeners to take action for positive social change. We do this by: Teaching true storytelling workshops which culminate in live performances and digital content that focus on the “too much information” parts of a story typically left out because of shame, stigma, fear or cultural expectation.
