The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

    The Kennedy Theatre at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is the home base for the productions of the Department of Theatre + Dance. Kennedy Theatre also typically hosts the Asia Pacific Dance Festival as well as numerous commencement ceremonies.     The Theatre program at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa is renowned for its Asian theatre productions and course offerings, as well as programs in Western and Hawaiian theatre (acting, directing, history, theory), design, playwriting and TYA (theatre for young audiences). Coursework goes hand in hand with productions staged in the 600-seat Kennedy Theatre and the intimate Earle Ernst Lab Theatre.
