3GT is delighted to invite Bay Area women playwrights, monolguists and women-led devising ensembles to submit 10 minute plays for a slot in our popular Theme Night program at the 2020 3GT New Works Festival. This year's Theme Night will be March 26, 2020 at Z Below. Plays will be performed script-in-hand by our Festival ensemble. All playwrights chosen for the Festival will receive a stipend for their work.

Applications for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival are open to any playwrights living in North America and writing primarily in English (multilingual plays are accepted) who consider themselves either an emerging writer (of any age) or mid-career playwright. Dragon’s Short Play Clinic is a part of Dragon’s Nest, where emerging artists or artists new to the Bay Area are able to hone their craft, make connections, and rely on the support of the professionals at Dragon Theatre.
