The act of submitting creative work for a dramatist is as necessary as finishing it. But the process of finding the right submission opportunity can feel overwhelming. This is why, for more than 20 years, the Dramatists Guild has compiled a submissions and opportunities database, and published a full directory of theatres, agents, festivals, contests, workshops, retreats, and other submission opportunities to help make the life of the dramatist an easier one.

This functionality is part of suite of resources designed to help playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists.

Only active members or subscribers of the Guild may use the Resource Directory.

Sleeping Weazel productions combine bold, experimental style with social justice ideals. Celebrating the ridiculous, the sublime, and the earth-shattering, our aim is to cross the boundaries of popular and high art, and to collaborate with artists of different generations and cultures, working in various genres. The company motto, “Making Different Possible,” means we dream awake with our audiences in Boston, and together we make life-changing art.
  • Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University creates inter-generational and multicultural productions that provide a shared experience for the whole family. Our productions celebrate the diverse range of families found in the world today and seek to unite them in the shared experience of live theatre. We are dedicated to those who are historically under-served: people of color, people with disabilities, and low-income families. We know that it is not only children who are “at risk” in our society — but entire families and communities.
